Congratulations to CMHA Durham CEO Linda Gallacher on 40 years of community service
Today is Linda Gallacher’s final day as CEO of CMHA Durham. We’d like to share her message with you, and ask you to join us in congratulating her on 40 years of community service.
Today marks the final day of my 40 years as CEO of CMHA Durham.
I am very proud of the journey we have taken together in creating an Integrated Mental Health and Primary Care Hub. Our success has not been achieved by one person but all those who came before me and everyone who has joined us to help serve our community.
This extraordinary story will continue to unfold with new chapters and, I know that CMHA Durham, along with the support of our community partners, will continue to provide innovative programs and services that support the mental health and primary care needs of Durham Region.
I have been honoured to be the CEO of this organization, inspired by our clients, amazed by the dedication of our staff and board of directors and the constant support of our community partners.
Now is the time for the next chapter to be written, I know that the agency is in good hands with Sheryl Wedderburn as Interim CEO, effective April 6.
Thank you all for the opportunity to serve our community, and like me I hope you all are looking forward to everything the future holds.
